What is a wax melt snap bar?

A wax melt snap bar is a scented wax bar that can snapped into sections and melted using a wax melt burner.

Our bars have 5 sections that allows them to be easily snapped into pieces, making it easy to control the amount of fragrance you release into your home.

How to use a wax melt snap bar

CLP

When you receive your wax melts, please review the CLP label to check for any allergens. Then go ahead and open the packaging.

Wax Melt Burner

Using snap bar wax melts is incredibly easy. First, you’ll need a wax melt burner.

Place one or two pieces of the wax melt into the warmer, add your tea-light and wait for the wax to melt.

As the wax melts, it will release its fragrance into the air, filling your home with a beautiful scent.

Remaining Wax

You can pop the remaining sections back into the packaging, ready for next time.

How much should I use?

Add 1-2 individual sections of your wax melt bars in your wax melter per burn time. This is based on the scent throw of the melts as this differs from scent to scent.

How long does a wax melt snap bar scent last?

Each snap bar contains 50g of highly scented soy wax and is broken down into 5 segments. Each segment lasts up to 9 hours which can mean each snap bar can last you up to 45 hours.

What are they made from?

Wax

All of our wax melts, including our snap bars, are made from soy wax, which is an eco-friendly, biodegradable, all-around winning wax. We say it’s what makes our wax melts snap!

Fragrance Oil

Along with our wax, is our hand-picked fragrance oil which we measure out carefully, in relation to keeping CLP compliant,

Decoration

All of our melts have a sprinkle of mica and a dash of coloured dye. Sometimes we get jazzy and add in some biodegradable glitter too!

How do you package your bars?

All of our snap bars are sent out in our frosted packaging, which is biodegradable, compostable & recyclable plastic-free.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our frosted packaging is 100% ready for recycling when you have finished with it.

If you have wax left inside the bag, brush it out into the main waste and then pop the rest in the recycling. Even our labels are recyclable!

Are your melts in snap bar clamshells?

Our bars are packaged in our recyclable frosted packaging, rather than clamshells. We prefer this due to the sustainability of being able to offer biodegradable packaging as well as recyclable.

Can you use a snap bar without a wax melt burner?

To use wax melts correctly and safely, you will need a wax melt burner.

Electric wax melt burners use an electric heating element to melt the wax. These burners usually have a base that holds the heating element and a dish that holds the wax melt.

Tea-light wax melt burners use a tea-light candle instead of an electric heating element to melt the wax.
